Box 84: British Ceramists Goblet, May 8th, 1929
This box contains a glass goblet engraved with a seal surrounded by the words "British Ceramists" above and "Pittsburgh May 8, 1929" underneath. The seal appears to be a castle with three birds. The goblet is red with a blue stem.
Box 85: Microscope, 1940s
This box contains a microscope that belong to Alter in what we estimate to be approximately the 1940s or 1950s. This microscope was used by Alter during his time as a student.
Box 87: Glass Lens, unknown
This box contains a large glass lens used for a high altitude camera. A note is etched into the service of the glass noting the type of lens and owner as well as a few other illegible notes.
Box 88: Oil Shale Sample, 1940-1950
This box contains a piece of 30 gal. shale and a small bottle containing a sample of oil. Both pieces are resting in a piece of wood with a placard in front describing the contents of the sample.
Box 89: Feathered Indium and Unidentified Metal Sample, unknown
This box contains a sample of indium enclosed in a small glass case. An unidentified metal sample is wrapped in paper and housed in a small wooden box.

Donald Stedman Papers
The Donald Stedman Papers conatin personal papers, correspondence, pamphlets, newspaper clippings, and photographs. There is also information on his Fuel Efficiency Automobile Testing (FEAT) program and his Clean Air initiative. There are two (2) scrapbooks filled with clippings, photographs, and University of Denver publications related to Professor Stedman.
Essie Cohn at Mt. Evans High Altitude Laboratory, 1948
This image shows Essie White Cohn in front of a trailer with a label that says "University of Denver Dept of Physica". The trailer is located at the Mt. Evans High Altitude Laboratory, where Cohn participated in several studies on the effects of high altitude on nutrition.
