The scrapbook has newspaper articles and advertisements on the Chicago Hide, Fur, and Wool House, including advertisements for fur trapper jobs; Liberty Bonds, Safe Investment and Reliance Oil Companies; and articles about George D. Bercu. George Bercu founded the Chicago Hide, Fur, and Wool House in Douglas, Wyoming.

Milstein, who immigrated from Russia, was an early leader in Denver's west side Orthodox Jewish community and in Congregation Zera Abraham. He was also a patriarch of the Cotopaxi Colony, an agricultural community located in Cotopaxi, Colorado that failed in 1884. He was a peddler and later opened his own kosher butcher shop.

Sigman Family Scrapbooks and Photographs, 1900-1997
This series contains photographs and papers about the Sigman family and the K. and B. Packing Company in Denver, Colorado. Louis K. Sigman and his sons Sam and Morris Sigman distributed free meat from their company during the depression from 1931-1940. Most of the material consists of digital images that were scanned from two scrapbooks.
