Spitzer Electrical Company (aka Spitzer Industrial Products Company) was founded by Benjamin A. Spitzer in 1922 in Denver, Colorado. The company was run by Norman B. Spitzer after Ben Spitzer died in 1960. Thomas Spitzer became manager in the 1980s. In the 1970s the company industrial manufacturing. The first banch store was in Albuquerque, New Mexico and specialized in automotive services.
