Morris and Harry Berry deliver groceries by horse-drawn sled during the 1913 blizzard in Denver, Colorado. Morris Berry later married Hannah Shwayder.

Morris and Anna (Ginsberg) Hayutin sitting in the front seat in the car, Soloman Hayutin is the other man in the car, and Dora and Max Ginsberg sit on the back seat. The car is parked in front of the Balanced Rock in Garden of the Gods, Colorado Springs, Colorado. Morris Hayutin's niece, Freda Hayutin (child) is also seated in the car. Members of the Hayutin family arrived in Denver in the 1890s.

Henry Plonsky sits, wearing a suit and holding a document in his hand. Polish-born Plonsky arrived in Denver in 1877. He helped form an Orthodox minyan above his store on Larimer Street. He became a successful shoe and boot merchant in partnership with Leopold Mayer and was instrumental in the establishment of the Orthodox Jewish congregation Ahavey Emunah in 1880 and later the Beth HaMedrosh Hagodol Synagogue and the Beth Joseph congregation.

Portrait of Philip Trounstine dressed in a captain's cavalry uniform of the U.S. Civil War. Trounstine married Mollie Wisebart and managed Abraham Jacob's Denver store as well as working as a volunteer firefighter becoming the first fire chief of Denver, Colorado.
