Abstract

A copy of Dr. Arthur Ernst Bätge and Therese Sophie Agathe Berg's, Maria's parents, marriage certificate from the Estonian vital statistics archive. The copy was produced on September 12, 1933 in Tallin, Estonia and has two 25 cent stamps attached at bottom. The form is filled out by hand in ink. This was one form produced by Maria's to the prove her non-Jewish heritage.

Abstract Dale Alton Hyatt was born Febrary 13, 1912 in Golden, Colorado and died in Denver, November, 2003. He graduated from South High School in Denver. Hyatt served in North Arfica and Europe in the 310th Air Service bomber group. The Dachau Concentration Camp was liberated by American troupbs on April 29, 1945. Scope and Contents

Ink wash painting titled "Despair" of a woman sitting on a short stool in front of a Fanklin stove with the door open and a pot on top. Sitting on the floor is an empty basket. Behind the woman is a window and a shelf with a candle and two canisters. Ink wash is done on an old roll of unused wallpaper as stated by the artist in a 1971 Rocky Mountain News Article.
