Dale Hyatt World War II and Holocaust Photographs and Papers
Abstract
Dale Alton Hyatt was born Febrary 13, 1912 in Golden, Colorado and died in Denver, November, 2003. He graduated from South High School in Denver. Hyatt served in North Arfica and Europe in the 310th Air Service bomber group. The Dachau Concentration Camp was liberated by American troupbs on April 29, 1945. Dale Hyatt took photographs of Dachau May 1, 1945 when the 310th bomber group went to the camp. The photographs are of Dale Hyatt, other members of the bomber group, bodies at Dachau, and miscellaneous images of World War II. Photographs are identified on the back and on a identification sheet in the folder.
