Abstract

A Pueblo native, Raich studied to become a rabbi after thirty years as a statistical engineer for CF&I Steel Corp. He had been a lay leader and cantor and had led congregations when Pueblo was between rabbis.

Abstract Sam Bock (1911-1984) was a noted engineer in Colorado and Maryland. Bock was born in Denver, graduated from the University of Denver in 1932 with an engineering degree, and moved to Maryland during the 1940s. In 1940, he married Charlotte Ginsburg. Abstract Sam Stoole was born in Denver in 1910 and graduated from the University of Colorado School of Engineering. He worked as an engineer for the State of Colorado for seven years. In the early 1940s, he began commercial construction and founded the Sam Stoole Construction Company.
