Mr. and Mrs. Dorcas provide general information about the development of the University Park area of Denver, Colorado, since their move to the neighborhood in 1938. They talk about the local schools, local businesses, their neighbors' professions and the effect of the University of Denver on the neighborhood.

Scope and Contents
The series consists of 50 oral histories collected by Barry Matchett during 1986. The interviewees were all persons who lived in the University Park neighborhood, and concerned their memories of growing up and living in the neighborhood over a number of years.

Title supplied by cataloger. ||Interview conducted at: 2260 S. Cook St., Denver, Colorado on June 12, 1986. ||Participants: Judy Hickman ; Robert Dorcas and Daisy Dorcas. ||Robert S. Dorcas and his wife, Daisy B. Dorcas, moved into the University Park area of Denver, Colorado in 1938. Robert S. Dorcas was an engineer. Daisy B. Dorcas taught social studies and theater at the Colorado Military Academy when the school was located near the University Park area. She also worked as a counselor at Lakewood Junior High School. ||Names appear on cassette label as: Mr. & Mrs. Dorcus [sic]
