Otto Isler, 1994 September 2
Otto Isler was briefly part of the Nazi army before he escaped to the United States. He then was a translater in the American army and participated in D-Day.
Out of the Past, 1976
File contains newspaper clippings of articles from the series "Out of the Past" in the Intermountain Jewish News by Mike Zelinger. This series was published throughout 1976, as part of a centennial series for Colorado's 100 year anniversary of becoming a U.S. state. Articles are about different facets of Denver Jewish life, and sometimes focus on individuals or groups.

Phillipe Family
Frank Phillipe's great-grandfather Solomon Philippe, a saloon owner, came to Leadville in the 1800's. Gertrude Miller Phillipe and Frank Phillipe built a log cabin in Frisco. Son Robert Phillipe rescued and renovated an 1880 Denver & Rio Grande narrow-gauge railroad car and re-purposed it as his real estate office. He also restored an 1875 engine and tender.

This "folder" is a scrapbook of photographs collected by Lillian Fogel Rubin. The scrapbook has a black cover with "Photographs" embossed in black lettering with a gold leaf backing. Many of the photographs are hand labeled with dates, names, etc.
