Dates
- c. 1940
Physical Description
The trunk is approximately 4' x 2' x 2'. Made of unidentified wood--potentially softwood, cedar or pine. There are two iron latches on the front. There is one handle on each side, although the left handle is missing and only has the attachment hardware still present. The back of the trunk has two iron hinges, connecting the bottom of the trunk to the top. The wood is cracking and splintering, though still seems relatively sturdy. Written on top of the trunk is "DENVER COLOR." with "[old?] FRISCO" beneath. The remnants of a sticker remain on the left side. It has a large "D" in the middle and appears to be surrounded by Italian--though this cannot be verified due to damage.
