Abstract
Letter from S. Wolf to C.D. Spivak. Wolf asks Spivak why he cannot admit Schwartz immediately. Wolf tells Spivak that Schwartz has been a public charge for two months and is at risk of deportation. Wolf continues to say that the department has only allowed her to say because she is old and her children live in the United States. Wolf also tells Spivak that all expenses for Schwartz’s travel will have to come from the Jewish Association in Seattle, or by the woman’s son. Wolf asks Spivak to try to admit Schwartz as soon as possible and to communicate with the Anti-Tuberculosis League in Seattle.
