Abstract Ida Libert Uchill was born in 1917 on a farm outside of Denver, Colorado to Paul and Fannie Pepper Libert. She died in Maryland in 2014. She was the author of Pioneers, Peddlers and Tsadikim: The Story of Jews in Colorado which was published in 1957 and a third edition published in 2000. She was an English teacher at Thomas Jefferson High School before teaching English at George Washington High School for seven years.
