A framed Certificate from the Children's Hospital of Denver, Colorado for Arthur L. Esserman, M. D. who was a resident physician and surgeon from 1924 to 1926. There is a gold seal of the Children's Hospital Association, Denver, Colorado on the certificate. Dr. Arthur L. Esserman (born 1898) was an intern at Children's Hospital from 1924-1926 and practiced pediatric medicine in Denver, Colorado from 1926 until his death in 1952. He was also on staff at the Children's Hospital in Denver.

The JCRS was a sanatorium for tuberculosis patients that was founded in 1904 by a group of immigrant Jewish workingmen along with the support of several leading physicians and rabbis in Denver, Colorado.
