Raphael Jospe: Karmiel Scholar in Residence, 1982
Raphael Jospe was a scholar in residence in Denver's Sister City Karmiel, Israel in 1982. He was a philosophy assistant professor and coordinator of the Center for Judaic Studies at the University of Denver. The file contains notes; a speech given by Dr. Jospe to the Executive Board of the American Zionist Federation in New York on April 1982; a "Report on Visit to Karmiel as Scholar in Residence (March 10-18, 1982);" and a newsclipping about the visit.
Sons of Zion Denver Chapter Charter
Collection contains the charter for the Order Sons of Zion Denver Chapter Subordinate Camp No. 32 established on March 10, 1911. The Order Sons of Zion was a Jewish Fraternal Organization based in New York City. The charter is a print done in back ink and blue. Image of an Angel over crowded streets and buildings pointing over an ocean toward Jerusalem and the Citadel of David, with a village and farmers below.
