Abstract

Senator Peter H. Dominick (R-Colo.) delivers his weekly radio address, Report from Washington, on May 20, 1968. Sen. Dominick announces the decision to use the Vail Pass Route instead of the Red Buffalo Pass Route to build I-70 to the Western Slope of Colorado. He praises the Secretary of Agriculture, Orville L. Freeman, on this decision that will save money, insure preservation of wilderness resources, and speed the construction of the highway.
