Twelve young girls stand in a row with their hands on each other's shoulders. Two girls are holding teddy bears. Some of the girls are identified as Esther Wollach, Lilly Judd (Israelsky), Daisy Brodsky Garlett, Naomi Sloan, Katherine Sloan, Tillye Shulman Levy, and Irene Miller Stein. Another girl is identified with the last name Kaufman and two additional girls are identified with the last name Atlovick.

Anne Levitt is seated and is wearing a dress and shoes. She was the daughter of Isadore and Yetta Prezant Levitt and was born in October of 1916. Isadore and Yetta Levitt came from Russia and settled in the Eastern European Jewish neighborhood around West Colfax Avenue in Denver, Colorado. Later Anne Levitt married Morey Marcus.

Baby's White Cotton Slip, between 1923-1925

Abstract

A sleeveless white cotton infant's slip with two small buttons at top of each shoulder. The slip has scalloped edging with white thread at lower edge hem and around arm and neck holes. The slip was made for a two to three-year old. Originally worn by Norma Peterman.
