Abstract

This box contains VHS tapes of Speaking of Dance performances. Performances include: "Dance for an Outdoor Sculpture" 10/23/1996, "Traffic, Love, and Other Forms of Non-Verbal Communication" 5/21/2001, "Life Journeys" 2003, "On Water" 2004, "Opposing Forces: A Search for Peace" 03/20-21/2004, "The Puzzle and the Path : New Dances to Live Music" 05/14/2005, and an untitled tape from the Lakewood Cultural Center 05/15/2005.

Box contains eleven (11) file folders, six (6) of which are from the photographs, scrapbooks, and clippings series. File folders contain portrait photos of Weil ancestors; Levy family photos; photos of Bill and Elise Weil; scrapbook pages; newspaper clippings about William Weil; and a VHS of family photos entitled "Weil: Reflections 1944-1990".

Abstract

This VHS tape contains recordings of three dances, "Last Call" at Buell Theatre, "Cosima" at Buell Theatre, and "Shankhill Shadows." The performances at Buell were recorded in 1996 and choreographed by Amy Anderson (Last Call) and David Taylor (Cosima). Anderson dances with Eric Donovan in "Last Call" and with David de Benedette in "Cosima." Anderson also dances in "Shankhill Shadows" in 1998.

Abstract

"Los Penitentes" stars Amy Anderson in one of their first leading roles with David Taylor Dance Theatre, with choreography by David Taylor. This was recorded around 1994.
