Letter from I. Kantrowitz of the Children Jacket Makers Union to JCRS. Kantrowitz wrote on behalf of Max Ferstendig for admission to JCRS. Kantrowitz explains that Ferstendig has been a member of his organization for ten years and any favor JCRS can provide to Ferstendig would be highly appreciated.

Typed letter from Jacob Schoen to C.D. Spivak. Schoen tells Spivak that this letter will be handed to him from Max Schaeffer who is sick with consumption. Schoen continues to explain that Schaeffer is destitute with no family to help him. Schoen also asks Spivak to satisfy the ex-grand master’s favor of taking an interest in Schaeffer’s case. Letter from Louis Ginsburg to C.D. Spivak. Ginsburg introduces Ignatz Greenberg and tells Spivak that Greenberg desires to be admitted to JCRS. Ginsburg also tells Spivak that Greenberg is a member of the Botoshauer K.U.V. of New York and the organization has furnished him with money to travel to Denver, as well as take care of Greenberg’s family while he is away. Ginsburg asks Spivak to do what he can to admit him as soon as possible.

Typed letter from Max Stern to C.D. Spivak. Stern is the ex-grand master of the I.O.B.A lodge. He asks Spivak if he can place Max Schaeffer into the JCRS sanatorium as soon as possible. Stern tells Spivak that doctors claim Schaeffer can still be cured.

Letter from Dr. P.A. Siegelstein to C.D. Spivak. Siegelstein tells Spivak that Mr. Ignatz Greenberg was examined by doctor and told to go to Denver in search of better health. Siegelstein asks Spivak if he can provide shelter to Greenberg while he is in Denver. Siegelstein also reminds Spivak that this is the second case he has recommended to JCRS since they became members of JCRS. He tells Spivak that their annual contribution with be forwarded to JCRS early next month.

Abstract Letter from C.D. Spivak to J.H. Werbelovsky. Spivak tells Werbelovsky that he received his letter introducing Mrs. Jennie Batchofsky. Spivak regrets to says that Werbelovsky sent Jennie to Denver without any money and she was not aware that she would have to wait a few weeks before being admitted to the sanatorium.
