This object contains the painting "Roots" by Juan Menchaca. This painting is number 383 of 1000, and there is a certificate of limited edition attached to the back of the painting. The painting shows a group of pioneers square dancing next to their covered wagons.
Emil Loeb - Portrait, circa 1940-circa 1950
Photograph is a portrait of Emil Loeb later in life. The photograph itself is very small, and framed in a lightweight metal frame. On the back there is an identification label that has not been filled out, as well as "Positive Paper and Chemical CO., Inc. 30 Clifton St., Newark, N. J."
Fried Family Papers
For over 85 years, the Fried family in Denver, Colorado owned the Fried's Art & Gift Shop. It was operated by Bela and Kate Fried's daughters Mary Fried, Bertha Fried Kleiner, and Sally Fried. This collection contains the correspondence, legal documents, personal materials of the Fried family, Fried's Art & Gift Shop records, and an embroidered woman's pump that belonged to Sally Fried.
