Abstract
Milton Louis Anfenger is standing on a deck in front of a chain-link fence wearing a cap and holding a cigar in his hand. There is sailboat in the water behind him. On the side of the boat: "165 CB. FT. 21 Persons." The photograph is on page 193 of Milton Anfenger's scrapbook. It is said that Congregation Emanuel in Denver, Colorado was founded at the bris or circumcision ceremony of Milton Anfenger, the eldest son of Louis and Louise Anfenger.
