Abstract

Photograph of the groundbreaking for the General Rose Memorial Hospital. Katy Rose is holding and has a foot on a shovel to dig the first hole in the dirt. In back of her are standing Maurice Shwayder, Ben Blumber, Mrs. Dave Cook, Joe Alpert, Mrs. Charles Shaper (Saralee Pollack), Arnold Rose (brother of General Maurice Rose). There is also an undated photo of the hospital.
