Abstract
The first wave of Jews (Germans) settled in Oklahoma Territory in the 1860s, and the second wave (Eastern European) came in the 1880s. Two synagogues were founded in 1903. By 1984, Oklahoma City had a synagogue-centered population of 3,000.
