The Miller Family stands in front of the Orlinsky Cash Grocery and Meat Market. Annie Orlinsky Miller stands behind her daughters, Sarah and Celia. The store was located on 8th Avenue and Mariposa Street in Denver, Colorado. Annie Miller helped support her family by operating her own store.

Abstract Moses-Isaac and Faye Rosenthal Goodstein arrived in Denver 1872 after fleeing from Russia Poland to London. Moses-Isaac Goodstein worked for his brother in law Philip Rosenthal in the Swansea Smelting Works and the Denver Rolling Mills. Abstract The son of Russian immigrants Fanny and Morris Hoffman, Harry helped out in his parents' grocery store, sold newspapers, and left school at age 14 to work full time in the family businesses (groceries and clothing). Michael Hattenbach was born in Cassel, Germany in 1841 and died in Denver in 1906. He was manager of the Denver Grocery company and also lived in Central City and Blackhawk.

Joseph Sigman and his daughter Sara Sigman Schonbrun are shown inside his grocery store on King and West Colfax, Denver, Colorado. Bread, canned and packaged are on the counters and stacked on shelves. Barrels, bagged and boxed potatoes, a carton of rice, and a stove-pipe heater are on the floor. Label Ginsburg is standing in front of Ginsburg's grocery counter wearing a suit and bowler hat. Canned and dry goods are displayed on the shelves as well as a large sign for Hills Brothers Coffee. The store was located at 1401 Grove St., Denver, Colorado in Denver's Westside Colfax Jewish community. When a sign painter made a mistake and spelled the Ginsberg surname with a "u" instead of an "e," Label changed the family name to Ginsburg.
