Henry Lowenstein
Born in 1925 and a survivor of the Holocaust via the Kindertransport, Lowenstein, emigrated to America in 1947. He served in the U.S. Air Force, studied theatrical design at Yale, and produced more than 400 plays at the Bonfils Theater in Denver. The Colorado Theatre Guild's annual Henry Awards are named after him.
