Published at Window Rock, Arizona, the capital of the Navajo Indian Reservation, this rare pamphlet promotes off-reservation employment opportunities for the Diné (Navajo), some of whom had recently returned from service in World War II. Kee Nez, a fictional Navajo man, explains his success in finding work to his friends—describing opportunities for farm labor, ranching, railroad work, and mining....
