David Marks Hyman, circa 1910s
Mr. Hyman, a immigrant from Bavaria in 1857, played an integral role in the silver mining industry in Aspen. He was owner of the Smuggler and Durant Mines, helped bring railroads to town, and was an early developer of Aspen.
