State of Israel Bonds Scrapbook
Abstract
Israel bonds is the US underwriter of debt securities issued by the government of Israel. In 1951, the country began to sell bonds to help the Israel recover from its war for independence. The country continues to sell bonds today. Collection contains a scrapbook from the State of Israel Bonds presented to John A. Love, Governor of Colorado, November 30, 1969. Scrapbook contains correspondence, newspaper clippings, ephemera, photographs and telegrams. All materials are related to the dinner honoring Governor John Love.
