Biographical / Historical

The Institute for Creative Aging was formed in Littleton, Colorado, in 1983 by husband and wife Milton and Helen Hanson. It operated for about 13 years until it merged with another organization called "Human Services, Inc." The Institute was a social service agency which focused on helping "adult children with aging relatives" to make decisions on their care, and on training both professionals and families on the problems facing families with aging relatives.
