Abstract
Program for the University of Denver doctoral, graduate and undergraduate commencement ceremony, May 31, 1980. Honorary degrees recipients: Frederick Amos Praeger, Doctor of Humane Letters, he was instrumental in founding the University of Denver's Publishing Institute; and Jessie Whaley Maxwell, Doctor of Humane Letters, she was the Colorado's first black school principal, she earned a bachelor of music and master of music education degrees from the University of Denver. Closing remarks by: Ross Pritchard, Chancellor of the University.
