Abstract

Congressman Peter H. Dominick (R-Colo.) delivers his weekly radio address, Report from Washington, on May 11, 1962. Rep. Dominick discusses topics including how tax dollars are spent, Congressional oversight, fiscal operations of government departments, and waste in government. He specifically discusses the losses incurred by surplus equipment sales by the government, and recommends that lease or rental of equipment in common commercial use would reduce this problem.
