For the record. Foreign debts surtax, 1968 March 28
Abstract
Senator Peter H. Dominick (R-Colo.) answers questions from Colorado constituents during a segment of his For the record radio program on March 25, 1968 in Washington, D.C. Sen. Dominick discusses foreign debt to the United States, naming several countries that are overdue in their debt payments. He also states his opposition to exchanging gold for United States currency held by delinquent debtor nations until they become current in their payments. Dominick outlines reductions in federal expenditures that he would make in addition to the 10 percent tax surcharge proposed by the Nixon Administration.
