Senator Peter H. Dominick (R-Colo.) concludes a speech to the faculty, staff and students of East Carolina College in Greenville, N.C. on September 15, 1966 and answers questions from the audience. Sen. Dominick discusses topics including home rule for the District of Columbia, the prospects of success for Republican congressional candidates in the upcoming election, civil rights legislation, and his views on recent civil rights demonstrations. Dominick also discusses United States fiscal policy including possible tax increases and implementing wage and price controls to combat inflation.
