Inscription and Marks
Stamped on back of photographic print: ''Sardos Artist Management 180 West End Avenue, New York, N.Y. 10023, TR. 4-2559.'' Typed on paper taped to back of photographic print: ''Ruth Carron, Mezzo-soprano - Connecticut Opera Association. ''She was lively and vocally pure.'' Philadelphia Inquirer. ''Delightfully done.'' Hartford Times. This has been an exceptionally busy season for the pretty mezzo-soprano from St. Louis. Miss Carron, after successful appearances with the Philadelphia Lyric Opera in ''Manon'', ''Carmen'', and ''Romeo et Juliette'', was re-engaged by that same company to sing in its opening night production of ''Fanciulla del West'', with Franco Corelli and Dorothy Kirsten. Also in Philadelphia she will soon be singing the Page in ''Salome'', Curra in ''Forza del Destino'', and Waltraute in ''Die Walkuere''. In April she will sing five performances of Berta in ''Il Barbiere di Siviglia'' in Hartford and during the summer on 1965 she will travel to Central City to appear in ''Manon'' and in ''Lakme''.''
