Abstract
Juanita Johnson discusses details about the University Park area of Denver, Colorado, and the changes that have taken place since she moved to the neighborhood in 1960. She talks about changes in the types of transportation systems, the increase in traffic and noise pollution, and the decrease in the number of young children in the neighborhood. Johnson also describes what the University of Denver was like both during and after World War II including details such as student activities, student housing, and class size.

Scope and Contents
The series consists of 50 oral histories collected by Barry Matchett during 1986. The interviewees were all persons who lived in the University Park neighborhood, and concerned their memories of growing up and living in the neighborhood over a number of years.

Title supplied by cataloger. ||Interview conducted at 2045 S. Cook, Denver, Colorado on May 31, 1986. ||Participants: Stephen Crummer ; Juanita Johnson. ||Juanita R. Johnson moved to the University Park area of Denver, Colorado in 1960. She grew up in her grandfather's house in Denver and enrolled in the University of Denver (DU) in 1941 when it was known as Tramway Tech. Johnson minored in education and did her student observation at University Park Elementary School before her graduation from DU in 1945. Her husband, a World War II veteran, received both his undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Denver.
