Biographical / Historical
Patricia Renzetti danced as Colorado Ballet's prima ballerina for 12 years. Patricia has danced as a principal dancer with companies around the world including Iranian National Ballet and Tampa Ballet. After her retirement from dance, Patricia has focused on teaching. She has been a guest teacher and choreographer in Japan and Taiwan. She served as Academy Director of Colorado Ballet from 1995 to 1999, founding the junior company Colorado Ballet II. She has taught for Tulsa Ballet, Tampa Ballet, and Ballet Ariel. Patricia has an MFA in Dance-Choreography from the University of Iowa and an MA in Counseling from University of Colorado-Denver. Patricia works with dancers and other artists offering private counseling and seminars in Performance Anxiety and Eating Disorders and Nutrition for Dancers.
