Abstract

A crowd of people standing with their arms at their sides on the grounds of the Jewish Consumptives' Relief Society (JCRS). The JCRS water tower is in the background and the Executive Building is on the left. The building on the right may have been a post office which also housed some employees and later became the library. The JCRS was a sanatorium for tuberculosis patients that was founded in 1904 by a group of immigrant Jewish workingmen along with the support of several leading physicians and rabbis in Denver, Colorado.
