This folder contains documents relating to the formation of the National Round Dance Board of Review and its earliest operations, mostly from Frank Gilbert and Iris Gilbert. Includes a draft proposal for what would become the Universal Round Dance Council, discussions of organizational agenda, operational policies, and a letter discussing the organization's relationship to Callerlab and Legacy.

Scope and Contents
This series contains letters and official correspondence concerning the formation and early activities of the National Round Dance Board of Review and the Universal Round Dance Council. The bulk of the material dates between May of 1977 and June of 1978. It is organized chronologically by date. Contents include the original letter asking about forming the organization as well discussions of purpose, draft bylaws, planning documents for the 1978 convention, and financial reports; significant contributors include Frank and Iris Gilbert and Roy and Phyllis Stier.
