Abstract

Box contains documents on administrative planning for the Lamont School of Music. In order, this contains information on the univeristy-wide strategic planning initiative of 1994 and its implementation at the school of music, including reports, proposals, and campaigns; a Critical Juncture and Vision for the Future report from 2004, Long Range Planning Committee reports from 2006, and Visiting Committee reports from 2006-2009. Box also contains faculty meeting records from 2012 to 2020 which includes meeting minutes, handwritten notes, agendas, printed emails, informational handouts, and presentations. Files are arranged chronologically within their respective categories (planning documents and faculty meetings).

Collection contains newspaper clippings, phone lists, posters, brochures, invitations and event advertisements, a file of Music History at DU, meeting minutes, correspondence, publications, accreditation reports, student rosters, memos, handbooks, administrative records, posters, concert programs, tape recordings, photographs, scrapbooks, and the charter for the combining of the Lamont School of Music with the University of Denver from 1941 through 2011.
