Abstract

This series contains papers from a variety of consulting projects undertaken by Rick Ridder and Faye Diamond at RBI from 2005-2020. Some of the propositions and legislation campaigns in this series include: "Vote NO 40," The Industrial Hemp Farming Act, "Proposed Initiative #157 - Stop Alcohol in Grocery Stores," "The State Flood Mitigation Revolving Fund Act," Amendment 74, and Proposition CC. The materials included in these folders are newspaper clippings and relevant articles, research, polling, correspondence, letters to government officials, agreements, agendas, presentations, and proposals.

Scope and Contents

From the Collection:

This collection contains materials related to the poltical campaigns and other endeavors that RBI worked on. Materials include contractual agreements, polling and research, printed relevant articles, advertising scripts, focus group results, ballot drafts, correspondence, staff resumes, presentations, reports, and political strategies and plans.

This collection also contains RBI business files. These files consist of Campaign Training Handbooks, a Ballot Initiative Strategy Binder, How-To guides and manuals, company retreat and trip planning, and company presentations.

This collection also contains political yard signs, campaign posters, and political posters that RBI had in their possession likely through collaboration with these political endeavors.

This collection could be added to in the future.

Arrangement

This series is arranged chronologically from 2005 to 2020. The folders are labeled with the project name and/or the organization with which RBI was working.

Additionally, these materials are from the collections of RBI employees, Rick Ridder and Faye Diamond. The folders are labeled with the name of whose collection they were found in.
