Box 24: CDs and VHS Tapes
Abstract
Box 24 contains CDs and VHS tapes of programs that James Case either directed or was involved in producing. The CDs included in this box were digitized for Elizabeth Case, Case's widow, by Paul Pendell, University Media Services, at an earlier date and returned to the University on 11/14/2024. Items include one (1) CD of the program "American Artists: James Salter," made during Case's time as Program director at KRMA-TV from 1956-1961; one (1) CD and one (1) VHS tape of the program "Clenet: The Return of Elegance"; and one (1) CD of "The Cow that Happened." There is one (1) VHS tape of the "Naturalists" program he produced at KRMA-TV in the early 1970s, which discussed John Burroughs, John Muir, Theodore Roosevelt, and Henry Thoreau. Each of these sub-programs has two (2) accompanying CDs. There are two CDs of "The People and the Pipeline" program, produced in the 1980s, and five (5) CDs of "Through All Time: The American Search for Community." Materials are arranged alphabetically.

Scope and Contents
This collection contains: photographs from NBC, KRMA, and various other productions; 16 millimeter films that Case produced or directed; personal paper; publicity documents from various television stations; and newspaper clippings. The collection is 1 record box, 2 half document boxes, a scrapbook box, 2 boxes of film, and a letter box of CDs and VHS tapes.
