Abstract
University of Denver (DU) sign reading "Woodstock West Peace + Freedom Founded May 8 1970" hangs behind two white wooden crosses inscribed with "Kent State" and photographs of the victims of the Kent State shooting- as part of a multi-day Vietnam War protest nicknamed "Woodstock West" that took place both on the DU campus and downtown Denver, Colorado. Protesters mourn the killings of four students on the Kent State University campus days earlier.
