University of Denver Woodstock West Protesters hold Signs and Crosses While Marching Denver Street, May 5th-13th 1970
Abstract
A line of University of Denver (DU) protestors hold signs and crosses, the crosses labeled "Kent State". Some of the signs read: "In Cold Blood." "Vetrans Solidarity." "Give [peace] a chance." "Power to the People." "Four Students Murdered." "Let's be civilized No More Wars." They march as part of a multi-day Vietnam War protest nicknamed "Woodstock West" that took place both on the DU campus and downtown Denver, Colorado. Protesters mourn the killings of four students on the Kent State University campus days earlier.
