Abstract
Over 260 items documenting the audio, visual, and audio/visual components of BLH’s work and that of her contemporaries. A particularly rich series, with documentation of her one-woman shows (including Life as We Know It at Joe’s Pub, New York City), her Home Movies poetry documentary project, as well as tapes of her classes at Naropa, readings with other Naropa faculty, and more. Also includes recordings of lectures, talks, workshops, and other events by Robert Creeley, Charles Olson, Gregory Corso, Anne Waldman, Ed Sanders, Junior Burke, Jack Collom, and many others, along with BLH’s performance group, Garthwaite, Hawkins, and Sorrel.

Scope and Contents
The Bobbie Louise Hawkins Collection consists of art and written works, notebooks, correspondence, photographs, audio/visual items, and other materials created and collected by poet, author, and artist Bobbie Louise Hawkins.
