Abstract

Box 7 contains raw data for Dr. La Pierre's dissertation of 1987, "A Preliminary Investigation of the Spatial Manipulation of Abstract Mental Imagery and Its Measurement", and other associated materials. Of note is a partial draft of the dissertation, and a number of research subject surveys and score sheets. Original order maintained - materials are ordered as found.

From the Collection:

The collection contains mainly research documents with personal notes, syllabi and lecture notes of classes attended and taught, and raw data collected for Dr. La Pierre's Ph.D. dissertation. Additionally, there are photgraphs, slides, and negatives of art objects, primarily Dr. La Pierre's own work, but also reference photos of Native American art, and a photo series from her cultural research trip to the People's Republic of China in 1983, with photographer Nancy Kuhl.
