Box 6: Research on Spatial Reasoning and Cognition
Abstract
Box 6 contains research on art education, primarily on the topic of spatial reasoning and cognition. Materials may contain personal notes from Dr. La Pierre. Of note is a research project conducted by Dr. La Pierre called "The Professional Artist's Thinking Style: An In-Depth Study", followed by "Nicaragua: The Stolen Revolution" by Don W. Coen, a subject of the study, and a box of mini-casettes containing interviews with Professor Coen and other subjects of the study. Materials are arranged roughly alphabetically from "'The Professional Artist's Thinking Style: An In-Depth Study'" to "Spatial Memory", with exceptions following Dr. La Pierre's original organizational scheme.
