Abstract
Box 3 contains various folders from Dr. La Pierre's collection of research and notes. Contained are a number of publications from the National Art Education Association (NAEA), research on Native American art along with articles by Dr. La Pierre on the topic, and notes and syllabi from classes taught by Dr. LaPierre. Materials are arranged alphabetically from "NAEA (National Art Education Association) Women's Caucus, 1 of 2" to "Teaching Skills".

Scope and Contents
The collection contains mainly research documents with personal notes, syllabi and lecture notes of classes attended and taught, and raw data collected for Dr. La Pierre's Ph.D. dissertation. Additionally, there are photgraphs, slides, and negatives of art objects, primarily Dr. La Pierre's own work, but also reference photos of Native American art, and a photo series from her cultural research trip to the People's Republic of China in 1983, with photographer Nancy Kuhl.
