Eight folders in Box 3 contain general family papers from the Gabelmans and the Whelans. Included are the divorce papers for Major and Mrs Gabelman, Major Gabelman's military papers, and paraphernalia from the Highlander Boys.

This collection includes household account books, tax records, photographs, real estate records, and textiles. Several speeches made by Senator Edwin Johnson were removed and added to his own papers. Also included are mementos from political campaigns, a scrapbook, and theater programs.
