Biographical / Historical
Judy Graese is an artist, dance teacher and costumer, originally from Loveland, CO. She was educated at Augustana College in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, the University of Colorado, and spent two summers at Perry-Mansfield in Steamboat Springs, CO. She was a dance instructor at New Mexico State University and Kent Denver School. Judy has designed and constructed costumes for the University of Colorado, American Theatre Institute-Aspen, Germinal Stage Theatre, Ballet Arts, Denver Civic Ballet, Murray Louis Dance Company, and Colorado Ballet. She has also illustrated four books. She co-founded Colorado Contemporary Dance, an organization presenting modern/contemporary dance, and served as a Board member and president.
