Biographical / Historical
Rita is a noted Folkloric dance instructor and teacher of traditional Mexican textile and paper arts. Rita's formal education took place in Saltillo Coahila, Mexico where she learned dance, embroidery, and flower making techniques with different mediums. She moved to the United States in 1979 and has taught in various organizations, cultural centers, and museums.
