54 Je Sig
Abstract
Depiction of Je Sig, or Je Tsongkhapa, realized in the Thangka style of painting from the Thangde Gatsal Collection on Thangka Buddhist Art. This is a complete view of Je Tsongkhapa sitting on the back of an elephant in the center and the dais encirled in a rainbow border. At the top of the image are two clouds with people gathered on them. At the bottom of the image is Yama Dharmaraja, protector deity, with red skin and surrounded by flames. In the right lower corner is a man in robes.
